Locally integrates local inventory directly with Google
Integrate store inventory into Google's free See-What's-In-Store solution or run localized ad campaigns.

Locally’s Google Integration Options provide retailers with seamless methods to showcase their in-store products to nearby shoppers through Google’s platforms. By sharing real-time inventory data, retailers can enhance their online visibility, attract local customers, and drive in-store sales.

Locally supports two popular Google programs:

See Locally Listing and Review Management for more information about optimizing your store listings.

Organic

Retailers who share inventory with Locally will automatically have their selection posted to Google for free.

Google supports organic search results through their Local Inventory on Google platform. This integration is automatically included with your Locally participation. Your store’s real-time inventory is displayed in a variety of places that are relative to a ‘near me’ search.

  • Just sign up to Locally and start sharing your inventory. Locally automatically integrates all participating stores with Google’s local inventory system.

  • Sharing inventory with Google’s “See-What’s-In-Store” (SWIS) program is free.

  • Your product selection will appear on Google in places shoppers are using to learn more about your store(s). For example, your store profile, map results, and in organic “near me” search results.

  • Shoppers will be directed to product pages on locally.com that feature your in-stock merchandise. If the shopper has already selected a size and color, they may also be sent directly to your cart.

Retailers can also upgrade to a private landing page.

  • Analytics are not included in the free tool, but you can upgrade your account to include private landing pages and access to analytics.

By leveraging Locally’s Google Integration Options, retailers can effectively bridge the gap between online searches and in-store purchases, meeting the needs of modern consumers who prioritize convenience and immediacy in their shopping experiences.

Retailers can use Locally to run sponsored ads on Google that compete directly with e-commerce merchants.

Sponsoring search results via Google’s Local Inventory Ads platform enables stores to compete for sales with online merchants. Inclusion in product search results is based on pay-per-click model.

  • Once you are live with SWIS feeds, it’s easy to get started with Google Shopping ads. Just let us know that you are ready.

  • Locally doesn’t charge fees to upgrade your SWIS feed to an LIA feed. But, Google ads are on a pay-per-click basis.

You’ll use an ad manager like Brandslice to optimize your results, or you can use Google’s Performance Max system to do-it-yourself.

  • You’ll still have products appear everywhere a shopper does research about your store, but you will now be listed in places where nearby shoppers are researching products you carry - like Google Shopping.

  • Clicks will go to a private landing page on locally.com - yourstore.locally.com.

Or, if it is a brand campaign, clicks may go to Locally-powered pages on the brand site.

Performance Max campaigns may send clicks directly to your cart.

  • Absolutely. If we don’t already work with your brand/supplier, let them know so we can start the service.

  • Yes. Once you have private landing pages, Locally can connect your site to Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, and the Locally Insights platforms.
