Locally Product Updates: December 2023

Updates To Locally Landing Pages

Locally Landing Pages have been updated to include the newest version of Locally’s cart and checkout. The cart and checkout, as well as the product grid and product pages, are designed to provide shoppers with the smoothest experience possible.

A shopping cart is now affixed to the top of the shopping area, making it easier for shoppers to return to their carts and build multi-item carts.

Locally Landing Pages can also now be customized to feature your colors and fonts, and are also available with Locally’s White Label experience.

Order Pickup Windows

To give stores better predictability when placing items on hold for customers, shoppers are now prompted to select a pickup window when placing a reservation for store pickup. The pickup window indicates when the shopper expects to arrive at the store.

The selected pickup window will appear next to the customer’s information on the Locally order screen or Reserve Online, Pay In-Store (ROPIS) orders.

Updated Cart API

If you use Locally’s Cart, you now can access two new fields:

  • Pickup windows selected by shoppers for ROPIS orders

  • An “alias” field that displays an alternative code to the standard UPC, such as a 13-digit EAN code (when available).

New “Save Cart” Feature

Shoppers can now save their Locally cart via email or by copying a link from the Locally Product Locator modal.

Closing the modal with an item in the shopping cart will also prompt the shopper to save their cart.

Enhanced Dealer Lookup Feature

Our latest update now allows you to quickly and easily add authorized dealers from our database of over 300,000 stores by including the store's address, state, and country directly within the search results.

Once you begin searching, the system will not only display the store name but also its complete location details. This update saves you time by eliminating the need to manually find each store’s location and removes any room for error in identifying the store you need.

Enhanced Payment System

We’ve introduced a new streamlined shopper payment interface powered by Stripe. This initial release provides a notable enhancement in the ease of checking out by incorporating an industry-leading, user-friendly UX.

New FlexOffers Integration

Shoppers on Locally can now place Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store orders at major retailers like Tractor Supply, Cabela’s, Sun & Ski, and Blain’s Farm & Fleet thanks to Locally’s new FlexOffers integration.

Retailers who want to offer Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store with fulfillment through their own BOPIS platform can now do so with this new integration. FlexOffers is a leading affiliate marketing platform used by major brands and retailers. Learn more and get started here.
